De nuevo sorprendidos con un público maravilloso que nos dio la vida en esta sala tan mal preparada acústicamente. El show estuvo muy potente, con mucha energía y la gente hasta coreaba y celebraba muchas de las canciones del nuevo disco.Tuvimos la gran alegría de compartir escenario con nuestra gran amiga Malena de “Actitud María Marta” con quien improvisamos un ragatón antimperialista que tiene compuesto con Marina y que ya lo estrenaron por primera vez con Chavez en el programa Aló Presidente en Venezuela, quedó buenísimo… Al final también participaron con nosotros los Sonex, quienes también abrieron el concierto y con quienes tuvimos el placer de compartir una jam en camerinos justo antes de que salieran a abrir el concierto, que pedazo de jovenes músicos y que pedazo de ritmo que tienen.

Fue un concierto duro y difícil por el sonido pero muy lindo y energético por la conexión con el público, que nos arropó a tope desde el principio hasta el final.

P.D. Sigo sin entender que un lugar donde se hacen tantos conciertos no se cuelguen un mínimo de telas o materiales absorbentes para amortiguar el rebote tan nefasto de un techo de hojalata…

Surprised yet again by such an amazing audience that gave us so much life in a space with such poor acoustics. It was a strong show, with lots of energy and the people sang along with and really got into a lot of the songs from the new album. We also had the great joy of sharing the stage with Malena from “Actitud María Marta,” and we improvised a an anti-imperialist ragatón together that she’d composed with Marina and that was released for the first time with Chavez on the Aló Presidente show in Venezuela, it was awesome… At the end, the folks from Sonex, who had opened earler, were with us, and we had a chance as well to jam with them right before the concert started what incredible young musicians with such wicked rhythm.

It was quite a difficult show with really frustrating sound, but it was still a beautiful thing for the connection with the public, who kept us at the maximum level from beginning to end.

PS: it always amazes me that a place like this, which holds so many concerts, doesn’t set up some soundproofing or absorbent material to kill the evil echo that a tin roof gives off…
